Kauri Pine

(Agathis species)

Also called Bindang or Damar Minyak, Kauri is a soft lightly coloured timber that now comes from Indonesia.

Widely used for joinery and plywood, it is also found in cutting boards and musical instruments, Australian or Queensland Kauri is no longer harvested.
